Tasha takes to heart her responsibility to grow the game in as many ways as possible. She loves hearing from a student that she has made golf “simple”, “cool”, “pain-free”, and “fun”. It is so important that she represents the PGA with class and work hard at her craft to change the student’s golf experiences. It is critical to have the correct information but more importantly, convey it in a way the student can understand.
Tasha's philosophy is to use her love of instruction, strong interpersonal skills, and background in Psychology to develop a rapport with each student, teach in as simple of a manner as possible, and determine how each student learns. She does not believe in one specific method but rather customizing each lesson to each student. Her teaching style could be defined as a holistic approach that is centered around the student’s needs. In order to teach simply, she feels she should remove more than add from a student’s swing.
